R. A. Baldwin Author of The Curse of Northland

The Curse of Northland
Inspired by the myths and legends of Great Britain and Scandinavia, as well as classical poetry, The Curse of Northland is a literary fantasy told across two volumes.

"Something watches Eölas in his dreams: a rotten man veiled in shadow. A silent voice speaks to him, freezing him with fear. His family insist that he pay his fancies no mind, nor should he give such life to shadows. But when Eölas discovers the apparition is no dream, and he seeks his mother and brother to demand answers, he finds they both are missing."

Appealing to readers of Tolkien and Hermann Hesse, The Curse of Northland is an immersive read beautifully illustrated by Nial Adams and Seda Sokmen.

R. A. Baldwin
R. A. Baldwin is of dual English-Finnish heritage and grew up on romances and fairy tales. He lives in the Surrey Hills, where he is inspired by the landscape to produce the stories and artwork of his imagined world.

Along with the volumes containing The Curse of Northland, and his planned future novels, R. A. Baldwin also hopes to produce a gallery of his own oil paintings based off his works.
